Alexander's Fundraising Success Story

My name is Alexander 'Zeek' Lundbohm. I live in Woodstock, New Brunswick. I played goalie for the Coast Tire Hockey Team.

We were looking for a way to raise money for our hockey team, and we came across the Hockey Spirit Website. It seemed a cool way to raise money for our team. So we took the opportunity and ordered 100 calendars.

When they came in my Dad took me out and I sold 22 in two hours. Two days later we gave them to the team. Everyone took five and sold them, some took more and sold them. That went good so we ordered 100 more and sold them. I was able to sell 46 more for a total of 68.

We sold 200 calendars that paid for three of our tournaments and our end of the year party.

I was lucky enough to have a good year. I was moved up to Bantam a year early, I was also awarded the most dedicated on and off the ice on my team. My dream is to be as good as Miikka Kiprusoff and play for the Calgary Flames some day.
